Our story
The Complete Building Services Solution
James Gallagher Ltd was established in 1999 and is a family run building company based in Kearsley, Bolton. For 27 years we have provided building services, electrical services and building maintenance to organisations right across the North West - Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and Cheshire.
Our employees, which include builders, joiners, electricians, plasterers and roofers, are fully qualified and accredited. All staff hold CSCS cards and are DBS (formerly CRB) checked, so we can work safely in schools, healthcare facilities and other sensitive buildings.
We have many long standing relationships with a wide range of sub contractors and suppliers, which gives us the ability to complete almost any building project or electrical installation. As the needs of our clients have grown, so have we - adding groundwork, EV charging and solar power and dedicated fire and security systems to our long-established building, electrical and maintenance services.

A Visit From the Mayor & Mayoress
We were proud to welcome the local Mayor and Mayoress to one of our sites in Bolton - a purpose built, three storey new build facility for a local charity, together with the refurbishment of the charity's existing adjoining property.
Projects like this are why we do what we do - one contractor looking after both the new build and the refurbishment for a local organisation - and it was a great moment for a family run business that has been part of Bolton for 27 years.
