Concrete Remedial Works & Machinery Pit Infill, Manchester
Groundwork isn't always outdoors. On this recent project in Manchester we carried out concrete remedial works and infilled obsolete machinery pits inside an industrial building, creating the floor for a new assembly plant - with stone tipped straight from the lorry and the work planned safely around the racking and the rest of the building.
Whether it's pits, bases and slabs inside a factory, or foundations, drainage and car parks outside, we plan the access, safety barriers and deliveries before work starts.

Yes. We regularly lay concrete bases and plinths for plant rooms, steel enclosures, cabins, substations and electric vehicle charge points - and because we are also electrical contractors we can dig and duct the cable runs at the same time.
Do you carry out groundwork for extensions and new builds?
Yes. Groundwork is often the first stage of our building projects - excavation, foundations, drainage and oversite - so one contractor looks after the job from the ground up.
